雖有軍兵列營以攻我、我心亦不懼、雖遭爭戰、我亦安然、

大軍雖當前。吾亦無惴慄。中君既安泰。威武焉能屈。

Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.

Even if an army attacks me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if war breaks out against me, I will still trust in God.

Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.

And he said,“ Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you,‘ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s.

and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God.

But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,

Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord,for we walk by faith, not by sight.Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

Is not your fear of God your confidence, and the integrity of your ways your hope?

Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy;no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish.You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?As it is written,“ For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Then Samuel said to Saul,“ Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul answered,“ I am in great distress, for the Philistines are warring against me, and God has turned away from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. Therefore I have summoned you to tell me what I shall do.”And Samuel said,“ Why then do you ask me, since the Lord has turned from you and become your enemy?

Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back,but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world— he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.

The righteous shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying,

When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said,“ Alas, my master! What shall we do?”He said,“ Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”Then Elisha prayed and said,“ O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
