心慕爾庭幃。榮光之所宅。

O LORD, I love the temple where you live, the place where your splendor is revealed.

Yahweh, I love the habitation of your house, the place where your glory dwells.

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers doing business.When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables.And He said to those who sold doves,“ Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!”Then His disciples remembered that it was written,“ Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.”

One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it,saying to them,“ It is written,‘ My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a‘ den of thieves.’”And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him,

Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good.

For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts!My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

And He said to them,“ Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

And Hezekiah had said,“ What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the Lord?”

Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.Then Solomon spoke:“ The Lord said He would dwell in the dark cloud.I have surely built You an exalted house, And a place for You to dwell in forever.”

I was glad when they said to me,“ Let us go into the house of the Lord.”Our feet have been standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem!Jerusalem is built As a city that is compact together,Where the tribes go up, The tribes of the Lord, To the Testimony of Israel, To give thanks to the name of the Lord.

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord, He will bring me back and show me both it and His dwelling place.

“ The Lord was ready to save me; Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments All the days of our life, in the house of the Lord.”

Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:

You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.

Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.

When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go with the multitude; I went with them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.
