Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.

Don’t remember the sins I committed when I was young. Don’t remember how often I refused to obey you. Remember me because you love me. Lord, you are good.

Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!

“ You write bitter accusations against me and bring up all the sins of my youth.

Let us now lie down in shame and cover ourselves with dishonor, for we and our ancestors have sinned against the Lord our God. From our childhood to this day we have never obeyed him.”

Though they are young, their bones will lie in the dust.

Yes, this anguish was good for me, for you have rescued me from death and forgiven all my sins.

“ I— yes, I alone— will blot out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again.

“ This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”Then he says,“ I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.”And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices.

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much,that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead.( It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

So now, my sons, listen to me. Never stray from what I am about to say:Stay away from her! Don’t go near the door of her house!If you do, you will lose your honor and will lose to merciless people all you have achieved.Strangers will consume your wealth, and someone else will enjoy the fruit of your labor.In the end you will groan in anguish when disease consumes your body.You will say,“ How I hated discipline! If only I had not ignored all the warnings!Oh, why didn’t I listen to my teachers? Why didn’t I pay attention to my instructors?I have come to the brink of utter ruin, and now I must face public disgrace.”

Don’t be so angry with us, Lord. Please don’t remember our sins forever. Look at us, we pray, and see that we are all your people.

Return, O Lord, and rescue me. Save me because of your unfailing love.

And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”

May the Lord never forget the sins of his fathers; may his mother’s sins never be erased from the record.

For he refused all kindness to others; he persecuted the poor and needy, and he hounded the brokenhearted to death.

Do not hold us guilty for the sins of our ancestors! Let your compassion quickly meet our needs, for we are on the brink of despair.

One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty eight years.

I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees.
