Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where[ is] thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?

Blessed[ be] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Who[ is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth[ in] mercy.He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob,[ and] the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels[ of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;To perform the mercy[ promised] to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth[ his] promise fail for evermore?Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.And I said, This[ is] my infirmity:[ but I will remember] the years of the right hand of the most High.I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

O LORD God, turn not away the face of thine anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant.

He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of[ his] mercy;

And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go.

But as for me, my prayer[ is] unto thee, O LORD,[ in] an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

If[ there be] therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
