My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.

我之上帝、余惟爾是恃兮、毋使敵凱歌、毋使予愧恥、

我天主歟、我倚賴主、求主莫使我羞愧、莫使我敵因勝我而喜樂、

平生無他恃。莫教我蒙恥。勿使我仇人。向我誇優美。

I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.

O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.

My God, I trust in you. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.

My God, in You I trust, Do not let me be ashamed; Do not let my enemies rejoice over me.

O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.

O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

My God, I trust in You. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.

O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me!

By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn’t triumph over me.

For the Scripture says,“ Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”

In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed.

They cried to you, and were delivered. They trusted in you, and were not disappointed.

In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness.

Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am Yahweh; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed.”

You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?Behold, and answer me, Yahweh, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;lest my enemy say,“ I have prevailed against him;” lest my adversaries rejoice when I fall.

Yahweh, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?

‘ For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.’”

Now therefore, Yahweh our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you are Yahweh, even you only.”

Yahweh, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,

Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.

Because it is contained in Scripture,“ Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious: He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”

Be merciful to me, God, for man wants to swallow me up. All day long, he attacks and oppresses me.

The king says,‘ Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you; for he will not be able to deliver you.Don’t let Hezekiah make you trust in Yahweh, saying,“ Yahweh will surely deliver us. This city won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”’Don’t listen to Hezekiah, for the king of Assyria says,‘ Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and each of you eat from his vine, and each one from his fig tree, and each one of you drink the waters of his own cistern;until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying,“ Yahweh will deliver us.” Have any of the gods of the nations delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria?Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Have they delivered Samaria from my hand?Who are they among all the gods of these countries that have delivered their country out of my hand, that Yahweh should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?’”

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?

“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying,‘ Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem won’t be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Don’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.For they don’t speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me. They said,“ Aha! Aha! Our eye has seen it!”You have seen it, Yahweh. Don’t keep silent. Lord, don’t be far from me.Wake up! Rise up to defend me, my God! My Lord, contend for me!Vindicate me, Yahweh my God, according to your righteousness. Don’t let them gloat over me.Don’t let them say in their heart,“ Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say,“ We have swallowed him up!”

“ He trusts in Yahweh. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”

Yahweh helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.

You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. You will rejoice in Yahweh. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says,“ Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.
