My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me!

我天主歟、我倚賴主、求主莫使我羞愧、莫使我敵因勝我而喜樂、

平生無他恃。莫教我蒙恥。勿使我仇人。向我誇優美。

I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.

O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.

My God, I trust in you. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.

My God, in You I trust, Do not let me be ashamed; Do not let my enemies rejoice over me.

O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.

O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

My God, I trust in You. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.

O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.

By this I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.

For the scripture says,“ Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

In you, O LORD, I have taken shelter! Never let me be humiliated!

To you they cried out, and they were saved; in you they trusted and they were not disappointed.

In you, O LORD, I have taken shelter! Never let me be humiliated! Vindicate me by rescuing me!

Kings will be your children’s guardians; their princesses will nurse your children. With their faces to the ground they will bow down to you and they will lick the dirt on your feet. Then you will recognize that I am the LORD; those who wait patiently for me are not put to shame.

You keep completely safe the people who maintain their faith, for they trust in you.

Taste and see that the LORD is good! How blessed is the one who takes shelter in him!

And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

How long must I worry, and suffer in broad daylight? How long will my enemy gloat over me?Look at me! Answer me, O LORD my God! Revive me, or else I will die!Then my enemy will say,“ I have defeated him!” Then my foes will rejoice because I am upended.

O LORD, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked celebrate?

I will shield this city and rescue it for the sake of my reputation and because of my promise to David my servant.”’”

Now, O LORD our God, rescue us from his power, so all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone are the LORD.”

O LORD my God, in you I have taken shelter. Deliver me from all who chase me! Rescue me!

The LORD is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, and my refuge.

Listen to my cry for help, for I am in serious trouble! Rescue me from those who chase me, for they are stronger than I am.

For it says in scripture,“ Look, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen and priceless cornerstone, and whoever believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Have mercy on me, O God, for men are attacking me! All day long hostile enemies are tormenting me.

This is what the king says:‘ Don’t let Hezekiah mislead you, for he is not able to rescue you!Don’t let Hezekiah talk you into trusting in the LORD by saying,“ The LORD will certainly rescue us; this city will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”Don’t listen to Hezekiah!’ For this is what the king of Assyria says,‘ Send me a token of your submission and surrender to me. Then each of you may eat from his own vine and fig tree and drink water from his own cistern,until I come and take you to a land just like your own– a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.Hezekiah is misleading you when he says,“ The LORD will rescue us.” Has any of the gods of the nations rescued his land from the power of the king of Assyria?Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Indeed, did any gods rescue Samaria from my power?Who among all the gods of these lands have rescued their lands from my power? So how can the LORD rescue Jerusalem from my power?’”

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? I groan in prayer, but help seems far away.

“ Tell King Hezekiah of Judah this:‘ Don’t let your God in whom you trust mislead you when he says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

Do not let those who are my enemies for no reason gloat over me! Do not let those who hate me without cause carry out their wicked schemes!For they do not try to make peace with others, but plan ways to deceive those who are unsuspecting.They are ready to devour me; they say,“ Aha! Aha! We’ve got you!”But you take notice, LORD! O Lord, do not remain far away from me!Rouse yourself, wake up and vindicate me! My God and Lord, defend my just cause!Vindicate me by your justice, O LORD my God! Do not let them gloat over me!Do not let them say to themselves,“ Aha! We have what we wanted!” Do not let them say,“ We have devoured him!”

They say,“ Commit yourself to the LORD! Let the LORD rescue him! Let the LORD deliver him, for he delights in him.”

The LORD helps them and rescues them; he rescues them from evil men and delivers them, for they seek his protection.

You will winnow them and the wind will blow them away; the wind will scatter them. You will rejoice in the LORD; you will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, this is what the sovereign master, the LORD, says:“ Look, I am laying a stone in Zion, an approved stone, set in place as a precious cornerstone for the foundation. The one who maintains his faith will not panic.
