I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.

O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.

O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.

O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy does not shout in triumph over me.

For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on him will not be put to shame,

LORD, I seek refuge in you; let me never be disgraced.

They cried to you and were set free; they trusted in you and were not disgraced.

LORD, I seek refuge in you; let me never be disgraced. Save me by your righteousness.

Kings will be your guardians and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the ground and lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who put their hope in me will not be put to shame.

You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you.

Taste and see that the LORD is good. How happy is the person who takes refuge in him!

This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

How long will I store up anxious concerns within me, agony in my mind every day? How long will my enemy dominate me?Consider me and answer, LORD my God. Restore brightness to my eyes; otherwise, I will sleep in death.My enemy will say,“ I have triumphed over him,” and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken.

LORD, how long will the wicked— how long will the wicked celebrate?

I will defend this city and rescue it for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.”

Now, LORD our God, save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, LORD, are God— you alone.

LORD my God, I seek refuge in you; save me from all my pursuers and rescue me,

The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Listen to my cry, for I am very weak. Rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.

For it stands in Scripture: See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and honored cornerstone, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.

Be gracious to me, God, for a man is trampling me; he fights and oppresses me all day long.

This is what the king says:“ Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you, for he cannot rescue you.Don’t let Hezekiah persuade you to rely on the LORD, saying,‘ The LORD will certainly rescue us! This city will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.’”Don’t listen to Hezekiah, for this is what the king of Assyria says:“ Make peace with me and surrender to me. Then every one of you may eat from his own vine and his own fig tree and drink water from his own cisternuntil I come and take you away to a land like your own land— a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.Beware that Hezekiah does not mislead you by saying,‘ The LORD will rescue us.’ Has any one of the gods of the nations rescued his land from the power of the king of Assyria?Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Have they rescued Samaria from my power?Who among all the gods of these lands ever rescued his land from my power? So will the LORD rescue Jerusalem from my power?”

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far from my deliverance and from my words of groaning?

“ Say this to King Hezekiah of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, on whom you rely, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem won’t be handed over to the king of Assyria.

Do not let my deceitful enemies rejoice over me; do not let those who hate me without cause wink at me maliciously.For they do not speak in friendly ways, but contrive fraudulent schemes against those who live peacefully in the land.They open their mouths wide against me and say,“ Aha, aha! We saw it!”You saw it, LORD; do not be silent. Lord, do not be far from me.Wake up and rise to my defense, to my cause, my God and my Lord!Vindicate me, LORD my God, in keeping with your righteousness, and do not let them rejoice over me.Do not let them say in their hearts,“ Aha! Just what we wanted.” Do not let them say,“ We have swallowed him up!”

“ He relies on the LORD; let him save him; let the LORD rescue him, since he takes pleasure in him.”

The LORD helps and delivers them; he will deliver them from the wicked and will save them because they take refuge in him.

You will winnow them and a wind will carry them away, a whirlwind will scatter them. But you will rejoice in the LORD; you will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore the Lord GOD said:“ Look, I have laid a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will be unshakable.
