I will make showers come down in their season; they will be showers that bring blessing.The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the earth will yield its crops. There is no one like God, O Jeshurun, who rides through the sky to help you, on the clouds in majesty.The everlasting God is a refuge, and underneath you are his eternal arms; he has driven out enemies before you, and has said,“ Destroy!”Israel lives in safety, the fountain of Jacob is quite secure, in a land of grain and new wine; indeed, its heavens rain down dew.You have joy, Israel! Who is like you? You are a people delivered by the LORD, your protective shield and your exalted sword. May your enemies cringe before you; may you trample on their backs.

The fear of people becomes a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD will be set on high.

For the one who wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from uttering deceit.

I will give them a single-minded purpose to live in a way that always shows respect for me. They will want to do that for their own good and the good of the children who descend from them.

How precious and fair! Grain will make the young men flourish and new wine the young women.

But, according to his promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness truly resides.

They will come and shout for joy on Mount Zion. They will be radiant with joy over the good things the LORD provides, the grain, the fresh wine, the olive oil, the young sheep and calves he has given to them. They will be like a well-watered garden and will not grow faint or weary any more.The LORD says,“ At that time young women will dance and be glad. Young men and old men will rejoice. I will turn their grief into gladness. I will give them comfort and joy in place of their sorrow.I will provide the priests with abundant provisions. My people will be filled to the full with the good things I provide.”

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Be happy for Jerusalem and rejoice with her, all you who love her! Share in her great joy, all you who have mourned over her!For you will nurse from her satisfying breasts and be nourished; you will feed with joy from her milk-filled breasts.For this is what the LORD says:“ Look, I am ready to extend to her prosperity that will flow like a river, the riches of nations will flow into her like a stream that floods its banks. You will nurse from her breast and be carried at her side; you will play on her knees.As a mother consoles a child, so I will console you, and you will be consoled over Jerusalem.”When you see this, you will be happy, and you will be revived. The LORD will reveal his power to his servants and his anger to his enemies.

Surely those favored by the LORD will possess the land, but those rejected by him will be wiped out.

The godly will possess the land and will dwell in it permanently.

How great is your favor, which you store up for your loyal followers! In plain sight of everyone you bestow it on those who take shelter in you.

The righteous person behaves in integrity; blessed are his children after him.

As if with choice meat you satisfy my soul. My mouth joyfully praises you,

“ Son of man, the ones living in these ruins in the land of Israel are saying,‘ Abraham was only one man, yet he possessed the land, but we are many; surely the land has been given to us for a possession.’Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: You eat the meat with the blood still in it, pray to your idols, and shed blood. Do you really think you will possess the land?You rely on your swords and commit abominable deeds; each of you defiles his neighbor’s wife. Will you possess the land?’
