我雖過死陰之幽谷、亦不懼遭害、因主常在我側、主有杖有竿、足以安慰我、

雖經陰谷裏。主在我何愁。爾策與爾杖。實令我心休。

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. You are with me. Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me.

The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me.

I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side.

But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel:“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

“ Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your inheritance, which lives by itself in a forest, in fertile pasturelands. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead as in days long ago.

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision:“ Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”

to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

“ The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”( which means“ God with us”).

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

before I go to the place of no return, to the land of gloom and utter darkness,to the land of deepest night, of utter darkness and disorder, where even the light is like darkness.”

May gloom and utter darkness claim it once more; may a cloud settle over it; may blackness overwhelm it.

But you crushed us and made us a haunt for jackals; you covered us over with deep darkness.

But there they are, overwhelmed with dread, for God is present in the company of the righteous.

They did not ask,‘ Where is the Lord, who brought us up out of Egypt and led us through the barren wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines, a land of drought and utter darkness, a land where no one travels and no one lives?’

The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,“ Rule in the midst of your enemies!”

Then I took my staff called Favor and broke it, revoking the covenant I had made with all the nations.

Raise the war cry, you nations, and be shattered! Listen, all you distant lands. Prepare for battle, and be shattered! Prepare for battle, and be shattered!Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us.

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say,‘ Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’”

For all of them, midnight is their morning; they make friends with the terrors of darkness.

Then I broke my second staff called Union, breaking the family bond between Judah and Israel.
