God[ is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;[ Though] the waters thereof roar[ and] be troubled,[ though] the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. O death, where[ is] thy sting? O grave, where[ is] thy victory?The sting of death[ is] sin; and the strength of sin[ is] the law.But thanks[ be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily[ in] the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed[ in] Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

To give light to them that sit in darkness and[ in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

The LORD[ is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD[ is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?When the wicked,[ even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this[ will] I[ be] confident.One[ thing] have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway,[ even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Before I go[ whence] I shall not return,[ even] to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;A land of darkness, as darkness[ itself; and] of the shadow of death, without any order, and[ where] the light[ is] as darkness.

Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days[ it shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard[ that] God[ is] with you.

For the morning[ is] to them even as the shadow of death: if[ one] know[ them, they are in] the terrors of the shadow of death.

Then I cut asunder mine other staff,[ even] Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
