To you they cried out and were saved; in you they trusted and were not put to shame.

Kings and queens will serve you and care for all your needs. They will bow to the earth before you and lick the dust from your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Those who trust in me will never be put to shame.”

God warned them of this in the Scriptures when he said,“ I am placing a stone in Jerusalem that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. But anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”

As the Scriptures say,“ I am placing a cornerstone in Jerusalem, chosen for great honor, and anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”

But the Lord will save the people of Israel with eternal salvation. Throughout everlasting ages, they will never again be humiliated and disgraced.

O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced.

As the Scriptures tell us,“ Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”

O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right.

Don’t let those who trust in you be ashamed because of me, O Sovereign Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Don’t let me cause them to be humiliated, O God of Israel.For I endure insults for your sake; humiliation is written all over my face.

I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others.

Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also called on his name. They cried to the Lord for help, and he answered them.He spoke to Israel from the pillar of cloud, and they followed the laws and decrees he gave them.

Sisera, who had 900 iron chariots, ruthlessly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years. Then the people of Israel cried out to the Lord for help.

Let them rescue you in your hour of distress!”But the Israelites pleaded with the Lord and said,“ We have sinned. Punish us as you see fit, only rescue us today from our enemies.”Then the Israelites put aside their foreign gods and served the Lord. And he was grieved by their misery.

So Israel was reduced to starvation by the Midianites. Then the Israelites cried out to the Lord for help.
