But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth.

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

God brings them out of Egypt, He is for them like the horns of the wild ox.

Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and left the temple grounds.

Wild oxen will also fall with them And young bulls with strong ones; So their land will be soaked with blood, And their dust become greasy with fat.

Will the wild bull be willing to serve you, Or will he spend the night at your feeding trough?Can you tie down the wild bull in a furrow with ropes, Or will he plow the valleys after you?

I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in regard to Me,
