O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou answerest not; And in the night season, and am not silent.

My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, but I find no rest.

O Jehovah, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee.

Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through.

And he was parted from them about a stone’s cast; and he kneeled down and prayed,saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.And there appeared unto him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground.And when he rose up from his prayer, he came unto the disciples, and found them sleeping for sorrow,and said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.

night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and may perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

Yea, when I cry, and call for help, he shutteth out my prayer.
