我精力已衰、枯如瓦片、我舌貼於上齶、主將我置於死地之塵埃、

體渙解兮骨脫。心消融兮如蠟。

這事以後，耶穌知道各樣的事已經完成了（為要使經上所說的得成就），就說：『我渴了！』

故此我必將許多人分給他做業分，他必分得強盛的為擄掠物，因為他將自己傾倒至死；他被數算跟罪犯同列，卻是他擔當了許多人的罪，又為罪犯們代求。

他們拿毒草給我做食品；我渴了，他們給我醋喝。

我因呼求而困乏，喉嚨發乾；我因等候上帝而眼睛失明。

我心跳動，我力量都跑沒了；我眼中的光——連這也沒有了。

我閉口不認罪時，我的骨頭都因終日哀哼而磨損。因為你的手晝夜重重壓着我；我的精液起了惡變化、如在夏天的炎熱中。（細拉）

首要的，我曾經把我所領受的傳給你們，就是：基督怎樣依照經典為我們的罪死了；

你掩面，牠們便惶恐；你收回牠們的氣，牠們就死亡，仍歸於塵土。

心喜樂、等於好醫藥；心靈頹喪、使骨幹枯乾。

貴人都屏氣收聲，舌頭貼住上膛。

耶穌又大聲喊叫，就把靈交放了。

長眠在塵土之地裏的必有很多人復醒過來；其中有的必得永生，有的必受羞辱、永被憎惡。

血肉之人就都一概氣絕，人就仍歸塵土。

亞伯拉罕回答說：『我雖是塵土爐灰，還敢對主說話。

求你記得、你製造了我如摶泥一般，你還要使我歸於塵土麼？

『我被害流血、下於冥坑、有甚麼益處？塵土還能稱讚你，還能宣說你的可信可靠麼？

你必汗流滿面、才得喫食，直到你歸了土，因為你是由土取出來的：你本是塵土，仍要歸於塵土。』

為甚麼不赦免我的過犯？不放過我的罪愆呢？我這就要長臥於塵土中了；你要尋找我，我卻不在了。』

喫奶孩子的舌頭因乾渴而貼住上膛；孩童求餅，無人擘給他們。
