我精力已衰、枯如瓦片、我舌貼於上齶、主將我置於死地之塵埃、

體渙解兮骨脫。心消融兮如蠟。

My mouth is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death.

這事以後，耶穌知道一切都已經完成了，為要應驗經上的話，就說：「我渴了。」

因此，我必使他在偉人中分得一份，他必與強者同分戰利品，因為他澆奠了自己的性命，以至於死。他被列在罪人當中，卻擔當了眾人的罪，又為罪人代求。」

他們還在我的食物中放入膽汁，我渴了，他們把醋給我喝。

我因呼求而困乏，我的喉嚨焦乾；我的眼睛衰竭，期盼著我的神。

我的心顫栗，我的力量耗盡，連我眼中的光也沒有了。

我保持沉默、不認罪的時候，就因終日哀號而骨頭衰朽；因為你的手晝夜重壓在我身上，我的精力耗盡，如同在夏天的乾旱中。細拉

因為我所傳給你們的，其中最重要的，也是我所領受的，就是基督照著經上所記的，為我們的罪孽死了，

你隱藏你的臉，牠們就惶恐；你收回牠們的氣息，牠們就斷氣，歸回塵土。

心裡歡喜，就是良藥；靈裡頹喪，使骨頭枯乾。

耶穌又大喊一聲，就交出了靈魂。

睡在塵土中的眾人必醒來：有的得永遠的生命，有的蒙受羞辱，永遠被憎惡。

亞伯拉罕回應說：「看哪，儘管我是塵土和灰燼，也容我斗膽向我主說，

「我死亡下到陰坑，有什麼好處呢？難道塵土會稱謝你，宣告你的信實嗎？

你必汗流滿面才有飯吃，直到你歸回土地，因為你是從那裡取出來的。你本是塵土，就要歸回塵土。」
