They open their mouths against me— lions, mauling and roaring.

他們向我大大地張嘴，像抓撕吼叫的獅子。

他們向我張開着嘴，像獅子在抓撕、在吼叫。

他們向我張大了口，如同撕抓吼叫的獅子。

向我張口、如咆哮吞噬之獅兮、

其口孔張、吼似猛獅兮、

向我張口、猶如猛獅攫物而吼、

健牡紛紛兮。圍我周匝。來自巴珊兮。洶洶相逼。

Roaring lions that tear their prey open their mouths wide against me.

They are like roaring lions that tear to pieces what they kill. They open their mouths wide to attack me.

Like lions they open their jaws against me, roaring and tearing into their prey.

They open their mouths wide at me, As a ravening and roaring lion.

They gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion.

They gape upon me with their mouth, As a ravening and a roaring lion.

They open their mouths against me— lions, mauling and roaring.

They gaped upon me[ with] their mouths,[ as] a ravening and a roaring lion.

They open their mouths to devour me like a roaring lion that rips its prey.

They open their mouths wide against me, lions tearing prey and roaring.

They open their mouths wide against me and say,“ Aha, aha! We saw it!”

They are like a lion eager to tear, like a young lion lurking in ambush.

“ All our enemies open their mouths against us.

All your enemies open their mouths against you. They hiss and gnash their teeth, saying,“ We have swallowed her up. This is the day we have waited for! We have lived to see it.”

They open their mouths against me and strike my cheeks with contempt; they join themselves together against me.

Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.

Everyone who sees me mocks me; they sneer and shake their heads:

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false testimony against Jesus so that they could put him to death,but they could not find any, even though many false witnesses came forward. Finally, two who came forwardstated,“ This man said,‘ I can destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”The high priest stood up and said to him,“ Don’t you have an answer to what these men are testifying against you?”But Jesus kept silent. The high priest said to him,“ I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”“ You have said it,” Jesus told him.“ But I tell you, in the future you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”Then the high priest tore his robes and said,“ He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? See, now you’ve heard the blasphemy.

Save me from the lion’s mouth, from the horns of wild oxen. You answered me!

“ Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey, shedding blood, and destroying lives in order to make profit dishonestly.Her prophets plaster for them with whitewash by seeing false visions and lying divinations, saying,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says,’ when the LORD has not spoken.

Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the courtyard of the high priest, who was named Caiaphas,and they conspired to arrest Jesus in a treacherous way and kill him.

Lord, how long will you look on? Rescue me from their ravages; rescue my precious life from the young lions.

or they will tear me like a lion, ripping me apart with no one to rescue me.
