From the time I was born, you took good care of me. Ever since I came out of my mother’s body, you have been my God.

我自出母胎就被交在你手里；从我母亲生我，你就是我的神。

我一出生就被交托在你手中，你从我出母胎就是我的上帝。

我自出母胎就被交在你手裏；從我母親生我，你就是我的神。

予既誕育、託身於爾、自母生我、爾為我上帝兮、

予既誕生、托身於爾、視爾為我之上帝兮、

我自出母胎、即倚賴主、從我出母腹之時、主已為我之天主、

信夫吾平生之所仰望兮。惟在天主之躬。主既出予於母胎兮。又教予仰聖恩於慈母之懷中。

From birth I was cast on you; from my mother’s womb you have been my God.

On you was I cast from my birth, and from my mother’s womb you have been my God.

I was thrust into your arms at my birth. You have been my God from the moment I was born.

I was given over to you at birth; you have been my God from my mother’s womb.

I was cast upon You from birth; You have been my God from my mother’s womb.

I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God.

I was cast upon thee from the womb; Thou art my God since my mother bare me.

I was given over to You at birth; You have been my God from my mother’s womb.

I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou[ art] my God from my mother’s belly.

I have been dependent on you since birth; from the time I came out of my mother’s womb you have been my God.

I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.

“ Before I formed you in your mother’s body I chose you. Before you were born I set you apart to serve me. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.”

People who live on the islands, listen to me. Pay attention, you nations far away. Before I was born the Lord chose me to serve him. Before I was born the Lord spoke my name.

But God set me apart from before the time I was born. He showed me his grace by appointing me. He was pleased

And the child grew and became strong. He was very wise. He was blessed by God’s grace.

The Lord says,“ Family of Jacob, listen to me. Pay attention, you people of Israel who are left alive. I have taken good care of you since your life began. I have carried you since you were born as a nation.I will continue to carry you even when you are old. I will take good care of you even when your hair is gray. I have made you, and I will carry you. I will take care of you, and I will save you. I am the Lord.

Jesus said,“ Do not hold on to me. I have not yet ascended to the Father. Instead, go to those who believe in me. Tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”

Jesus became wiser and stronger. He also became more and more pleasing to God and to people.
