He took the crown of their king from his head– it was gold, weighed about seventy-five pounds, and held a precious stone– and it was placed on David’s head. He also took from the city a great deal of plunder.

David took the crown from the head of their king and wore it( its weight was a talent of gold and it was set with precious stones). He took a large amount of plunder from the city.

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.

When all the leaders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, King David made an agreement with them in Hebron before the LORD. They designated David as king over Israel.

His eyes are like a fiery flame and there are many diadem crowns on his head. He has a name written that no one knows except himself.

but we see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by God’s grace he would experience death on behalf of everyone.

Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?

The men of Judah came and there they anointed David as king over the people of Judah. David was told,“ The people of Jabesh Gilead are the ones who buried Saul.”

( Who has confronted me that I should repay? Everything under heaven belongs to me!)

Or who has first given to God, that God needs to repay him?
