Now I know that the Lord gives victory to his anointed king. He answers him from his sacred home in heaven. The power of God’s right hand gives victory to the king.

Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand.

Now I know that the Lord rescues his anointed king. He will answer him from his holy heaven and rescue him by his great power.

The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.

I have found David my servant; with my sacred oil I have anointed him.My hand will sustain him; surely my arm will strengthen him.The enemy will not get the better of him; the wicked will not oppress him.I will crush his foes before him and strike down his adversaries.

You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great.

Look down from heaven and see, from your lofty throne, holy and glorious. Where are your zeal and your might? Your tenderness and compassion are withheld from us.

Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.

The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
