維時、必發忿以譴之、震怒以苦之、

惟時主必施威譴責之、發怒震驚之、

終必勃然而怒兮。以懲當車之螳螂。

He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,

When he is angry, he warns them. When his anger blazes out, he terrifies them.

Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying,

Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.

Then will he speak unto them in his wrath, And vex them in his sore displeasure:

Then he angrily speaks to them and terrifies them in his rage, saying,

but he will judge the poor with righteousness, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.

He threw on them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, indignation, and trouble, and a band of angels of evil.He made a path for his anger. He didn’t spare their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence,

You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.

Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double- edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He treads the wine press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

But bring those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.’”

I am very angry with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, but they added to the calamity.”

A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of Yahweh that repays his enemies what they deserve.

He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two- edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.

For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”

You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna?Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.

But to the wicked God says,“ What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.“ You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.“ Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.

When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
