See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warneth from heaven:

Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may offer service well- pleasing to God with reverence and awe:for our God is a consuming fire.

Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because it was not united by faith with them that heard.

A God very terrible in the council of the holy ones, And to be feared above all them that are round about him?

To- day, oh that ye would hear his voice!Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness;

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: Therefore I love thy testimonies.My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And I am afraid of thy judgments.

Jehovah reigneth; let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad.

Jehovah reigneth; let the peoples tremble: He sitteth above the cherubim; let the earth be moved.
