爾曹列王、宜具聰慧、世上士師、宜受訓誨兮、

列王宜有慧思、士師順受譴責、

現今列王、爾當覺悟、世間掌權者、須受警教、

嗚呼世之侯王兮。盍不及早省悟。鳴呼世之法吏兮。盍不自守法度。

And the daughter of Tyre[ shall be there] with a gift;[ even] the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

Who[ is] wise, and he shall understand these[ things]? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD[ are] right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that[ men] may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and[ that] their kings[ may be] brought.

So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for[ that] which had not been told them shall they see; and[ that] which they had not heard shall they consider.

The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with[ their] face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I[ am] the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.
