玉律豈有瑕。祇守心自怡。聖典何皎潔。悅目驚新奇。

The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.

The law that brings respect for the Lord is pure. It lasts forever. The commands the Lord gives are true. All of them are completely right.

Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair.

You are righteous, Yahweh. Your judgments are upright.You have commanded your statutes in righteousness. They are fully trustworthy.

Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.

What great nation is there that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law which I set before you today?

“ Now these are the ordinances which you shall set before them:

It will happen, as soon as I leave you, that Yahweh’s Spirit will carry you I don’t know where; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he can’t find you, he will kill me. But I, your servant, have feared Yahweh from my youth.

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are like a great deep. Yahweh, you preserve man and animal.

God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son.He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.

His ways are prosperous at all times. He is arrogant, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.

Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you. Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul.

Ahab called Obadiah, who was over the household.( Now Obadiah feared Yahweh greatly;for when Jezebel cut off Yahweh’s prophets, Obadiah took one hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)

He said,“ Don’t lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”

He will bless those who fear Yahweh, both small and great.

A revelation is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked:“ There is no fear of God before his eyes.”

for his judgments are true and righteous. For he has judged the great prostitute, who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.”

Joseph said to them the third day,“ Do this, and live, for I fear God.

The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.His offspring will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.

I have sworn, and have confirmed it, that I will obey your righteous ordinances.

We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

But the former governors who were before me were supported by the people, and took bread and wine from them, plus forty shekels of silver; yes, even their servants ruled over the people; but I didn’t do so, because of the fear of God.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you, because of your righteous ordinances.

Take away my disgrace that I dread, for your ordinances are good.

I heard the altar saying,“ Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.”

The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.

I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments.

They said,“ Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the nation of the Jews, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say.”

See then the goodness and severity of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

As it is written,“ There is no one righteous; no, not one.There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.They have all turned away. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not so much as one.”“ Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit.”“ The poison of vipers is under their lips.”“ Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”“ Their feet are swift to shed blood.Destruction and misery are in their ways.The way of peace, they haven’t known.”“ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Yahweh, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

He shows his word to Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.

They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.
