The revelation of Your words brings light and gives understanding to the inexperienced.

The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His instructions are trustworthy.

for teaching shrewdness to the inexperienced, knowledge and discretion to a young man—

Let the message about the Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God.

Lord, Your testimonies are completely reliable; holiness is the beauty of Your house for all the days to come.

and you know that from childhood you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness,so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

He renews my life; He leads me along the right paths for His name’s sake.

Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning.

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, having this inscription: The Lord knows those who are His, and Everyone who names the name of the Lord must turn away from unrighteousness.

Since I love Your commands more than gold, even the purest gold,I carefully follow all Your precepts and hate every false way.

To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, there will be no dawn for them.

All the prophets testify about Him that through His name everyone who believes in Him will receive forgiveness of sins.”

This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to recite it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do.

Instruction from Your lips is better for me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead.Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

I have Your decrees as a heritage forever; indeed, they are the joy of my heart.

For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures.

Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

“ How long, foolish ones, will you love ignorance? How long will you mockers enjoy mocking and you fools hate knowledge?If you respond to my warning, then I will pour out my spirit on you and teach you my words.

So don’t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me His prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God.

I have not departed from the commands of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily food.

God— His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is pure. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

I rejoice in the way revealed by Your decrees as much as in all riches.

How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping Your word.

Your decrees are my delight and my counselors.

I have seen a limit to all perfection, but Your command is without limit.How I love Your instruction! It is my meditation all day long.Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are always with me.I have more insight than all my teachers because Your decrees are my meditation.I understand more than the elders because I obey Your precepts.

You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, yet they testify about Me.

Is it not true my house is with God? For He has established an everlasting covenant with me, ordered and secured in every detail. Will He not bring about my whole salvation and my every desire?

Long ago I learned from Your decrees that You have established them forever.

Bind up the testimony. Seal up the instruction among my disciples.

Then I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me,“ Don’t do that! I am a fellow slave with you and your brothers who have the testimony about Jesus. Worship God, because the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

He testifies to what He has seen and heard, yet no one accepts His testimony.The one who has accepted His testimony has affirmed that God is true.

My people, hear my instruction; listen to what I say.I will declare wise sayings; I will speak mysteries from the past—things we have heard and known and that our fathers have passed down to us.We must not hide them from their children, but must tell a future generation the praises of the Lord, His might, and the wonderful works He has performed.He established a testimony in Jacob and set up a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers to teach to their childrenso that a future generation— children yet to be born— might know. They were to rise and tell their childrenso that they might put their confidence in God and not forget God’s works, but keep His commands.

When he is seated on his royal throne, he is to write a copy of this instruction for himself on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests.It is to remain with him, and he is to read from it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear the Lord his God, to observe all the words of this instruction, and to do these statutes.Then his heart will not be exalted above his countrymen, he will not turn from this command to the right or the left, and he and his sons will continue ruling many years over Israel.

Considerable in every way. First, they were entrusted with the spoken words of God.

He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and judgments to Israel.He has not done this for any nation; they do not know His judgments. Hallelujah!

so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.We have this hope as an anchor for our lives, safe and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.
