披上亮光，如披外袍，铺张穹苍，如铺幔子，

上帝说：“天上要有光体来分昼夜，让它们作记号，定季节、日子、年份，它们要在天空发光，照在地上。”事就这样成了。于是上帝造了两个大光体，大的管昼，小的管夜，又造了星辰。上帝把这些光体摆列在天空，照在地上，管理昼夜，分别光暗。上帝看为好的。

记念他对以色列家的慈爱和信实。地的四极都看见我们上帝的救恩。

但是，对你们敬畏我名的人，必有公义的太阳出现，其光线有医治的能力。你们必出来跳跃如圈里的牛犊。

我们不愿意过分夸口，但是我们只在上帝划定的界限内夸口。这界限甚至扩展到你们那里。我们扩展到你们那里时并没有越过了自己的界限，其实我们是首先到你们那里传基督福音的。我们不靠别人所劳碌的过分夸口；我们只希望你们信心增长的时候，所划定给我们的范围也能够因着你们更加扩展，使福音得以传到你们以外的地方，而不在别人的范围之内，以别人所成就的事夸口。

他说：“你作我的仆人，使雅各众支派复兴，使以色列中蒙保存的人归回；然而此事尚小，我还要使你作万邦之光，使你施行我的救恩，直到地极。”
