披上亮光，如披外袍，鋪張穹蒼，如鋪幔子，

神說：「天上要有光體，可以分晝夜，作記號，定節令、日子、年歲，並要發光在天空，普照在地上。」事就這樣成了。於是神造了兩個大光，大的管晝，小的管夜，又造眾星，就把這些光擺列在天空，普照在地上，管理晝夜，分別明暗。神看着是好的。

記念他向以色列家所發的慈愛，所憑的信實。地的四極都看見我們神的救恩。

但向你們敬畏我名的人必有公義的日頭出現，其光線有醫治之能。你們必出來跳躍如圈裏的肥犢。

我們不願意分外誇口，只要照神所量給我們的界限搆到你們那裏。我們並非過了自己的界限，好像搆不到你們那裏；因為我們早到你們那裏，傳了基督的福音。我們不仗着別人所勞碌的，分外誇口；但指望你們信心增長的時候，所量給我們的界限，就可以因着你們更加開展，得以將福音傳到你們以外的地方；並不是在別人界限之內，藉着他現成的事誇口。

現在他說：你作我的僕人，使雅各眾支派復興，使以色列中得保全的歸回尚為小事，我還要使你作外邦人的光，叫你施行我的救恩，直到地極。
