那么我要说，他们难道没有听过吗？当然听过——“那声音传遍了天下，那话语传到了地极。”

耶和华披戴光明如披衣裳，展开诸天如幔帐。

神说：“让天上的穹苍中有光体来分昼夜，让它们成为标记来定节令、日子和年岁；让它们在天上穹苍中发光来照亮大地。”事情就如此成就了。神造了两个大光体：大的管昼，小的管夜，又造了星辰；神把它们安置在天上的穹苍中来照亮大地，分管昼与夜，并分开光与黑暗。神看这是好的。

他记念他对以色列家的慈爱和信实，所有的地极都看见我们神的救恩。

至于你们这些敬畏我名的人，必有公义的太阳为你们升起，它的光线带来痊愈；你们必出来跳跃，像圈里的牛犊。”

但我们不会在界限以外夸耀，而是在神分给我们的界限范围内夸耀，这界限甚至一直达到你们那里。的确，我们没有过于扩张自己，好像达不到你们那里，实际上我们带着基督的福音已经来了，甚至远到你们那里。我们并没有在界限以外，以别人的劳苦夸耀。我们只是希望，随着你们信仰的增长，我们的范围就会因着你们而更加扩大，以致把福音传到你们以外的地方；我们不是在别人的范围之内，为那些现成的事来夸耀。

——现在耶和华说：“你作为我的仆人，使雅各众支派复兴、使以色列中蒙保守的人回归，只是小事！我还要使你作列国之光，使我的救恩达到地极。”
