倘若我心中藏匿罪惡，主必不垂聽我的呼求。然而，上帝聽了我的禱告，傾聽了我的祈求。上帝當受稱頌！祂沒有對我的禱告拒而不聽，也沒有收回祂對我的慈愛。

你們也如同活石，被用來建造屬靈的宮殿，好做聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙上帝悅納的靈祭。

在外族人中作基督耶穌的僕人和上帝福音的祭司，好叫外族人藉著聖靈得以聖潔，可以作上帝喜悅的祭物。

耶和華憎恨惡人的祭物，悅納正直人的祈禱。

「耶和華，以色列的君王和救贖主，萬軍之耶和華說，『我是首先的，我是末後的，除我以外再沒有真神。

我知道我的救贖主活著，最後祂必站在地上。

我們的救贖主是以色列的聖者，祂名叫萬軍之耶和華。

要知道，你們從傳統的、沒有意義的生活中被救贖出來，不是靠金銀等會朽壞的東西，而是靠無瑕無疵的代罪羔羊——基督的寶血。

你們的救贖主耶和華——以色列的聖者說：「為了你們的緣故，我必派大軍進攻巴比倫，使迦勒底人坐著他們引以為榮的船逃亡。

亞伯憑信心向上帝獻祭，比該隱所獻的更美，蒙了上帝的悅納，被稱為義人。他雖然死了，卻仍然藉著信心說話。

等候祂的兒子從天降臨，就是祂使之從死裡復活、救我們脫離將來可怕審判的耶穌。

讓我們靠著基督，常常開口以頌讚為祭獻給上帝，這是承認主名的人所結的果子。

主耶穌為我們犧牲自己，要救贖我們脫離一切罪惡，並潔淨我們，使我們作祂的子民，成為熱心行善的人。

因為造你的是你的丈夫，祂名叫萬軍之耶和華；救贖你的是以色列的聖者，祂是普天下的上帝。

他們唱著一首新歌：「你配拿書卷並揭開封印，因你曾被殺，用你的血從各部落、各語言族群、各民族、各國家，將人買贖回來歸給上帝。

亞伯也把羊群中頭生的羊及其最肥美的部分獻給耶和華。耶和華悅納亞伯和他的祭物，卻不悅納該隱和他的祭物。該隱便非常惱火，面帶怒容。
