By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Your servant is warned by them. When people obey them, they are greatly rewarded.

Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn a wicked person and he does not turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.Now if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and practices iniquity, and I put a stumbling block in front of him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die because of his sin and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. When you walk here and there, they will guide you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; when you wake up, they will talk to you.For a command is a lamp, teaching is a light, and corrective discipline is the way to life.
