Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone and a burning wind Shall be the portion of their cup.

Bow down Your heavens, O Lord, and come down; Touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.Flash forth lightning and scatter them; Shoot out Your arrows and destroy them.

He looks on the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke.

And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.

O God, why have You cast us off forever? Why does Your anger smoke against the sheep of Your pasture?

‘ The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and His wrath.’All nations would say,‘ Why has the Lord done so to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?’

Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp.

“ The Lord would not spare him; for then the anger of the Lord and His jealousy would burn against that man, and every curse that is written in this book would settle on him, and the Lord would blot out his name from under heaven.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; A fire shall devour before Him, And it shall be very tempestuous all around Him.
