In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried out to my God. From his heavenly temple he heard my voice; he listened to my cry for help.

我在急难中求告耶和华，向我的神呼求。他从殿中听了我的声音；我在他面前的呼求入了他的耳中。

我在急難時祈求主、籲懇我天主、主自殿中俯聽我聲、我之籲懇達於主前、為主耳所聞、

幽冥之索綯重重。死地之羅網紛紛。

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

The LORD pays attention to the godly and hears their cry for help.

So Peter was kept in prison, but those in the church were earnestly praying to God for him.

I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I was delivered from my enemies.The waves of death engulfed me, the currents of chaos overwhelmed me.

The priests and Levites got up and pronounced blessings on the people. The LORD responded favorably to them as their prayers reached his holy dwelling place in heaven.

I have asked the LORD for one thing– this is what I desire! I want to live in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the splendor of the LORD and contemplate in his temple.He will surely give me shelter in the day of danger; he will hide me in his home; he will place me on an inaccessible rocky summit.

But the LORD is in his majestic palace. The whole earth is speechless in his presence!”

In my distress I cried out to the LORD and he answered me.

From the deep water I cry out to you, O LORD.O Lord, listen to me! Pay attention to my plea for mercy!

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven. His eyes watch; his eyes examine all people.

But as for me, because of your great faithfulness I will enter your house; I will bow down toward your holy temple as I worship you.

During that long period of time the king of Egypt died, and the Israelites groaned because of the slave labor. They cried out, and their desperate cry because of their slave labor went up to God.

“ God does not really live on the earth! Look, if the sky and the highest heaven cannot contain you, how much less this temple I have built!But respond favorably to your servant’s prayer and his request for help, O LORD my God. Answer the desperate prayer your servant is presenting to you today.Night and day may you watch over this temple, the place where you promised you would live. May you answer your servant’s prayer for this place.Respond to the request of your servant and your people Israel for this place. Hear from inside your heavenly dwelling place and respond favorably.

He said,“ Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Then the temple of God in heaven was opened and the ark of his covenant was visible within his temple. And there were flashes of lightning, roaring, crashes of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
