幽冥之索綯重重。死地之羅網紛紛。

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

主乃我之磐石與堡壘兮。亦為我之恩保與所天。藏身之窟兮。禦敵之干。仰岑樓之崔嵬兮。視兵革而彌堅。悲我身之遭厄兮。求恩主之矜憐。竟脫我於虎口兮。信慈惠之無邊。

求主惟一事。足以慰幽衷。終身居主宅。陶然醉春風。逍遙聖殿裏。瞻仰樂無窮。我當患難日。必蒙藏其室。納我於幔角。置我於磐石。

昔日罹危厄。籲主乃見脫。

我自窮幽。籲主不休。主其傾耳。俯聽我求。

我答友人言。此語何荒唐。一生恃主得無恙。何必入山去自藏。

惟善故疾惡。痛絕諸兇暴。群小在主前。焉能長自保。

又曰：『阿爸！全能者父！盍免我飲此爵！雖然、莫從吾意、惟循父旨。』

當時、天主聖殿、洞開於天；結約之櫃、見於殿中；雷霆霹靂、眾聲並作、大地震顫、天降大雹。
