我在急難時祈求主、籲懇我天主、主自殿中俯聽我聲、我之籲懇達於主前、為主耳所聞、

幽冥之索綯重重。死地之羅網紛紛。

於是彼得被囚在監裏；教會卻為他切切地禱告神。

我要求告當讚美的耶和華；這樣我必從仇敵手中被救出來。曾有死亡的繩索纏繞我，匪類的急流使我驚懼，

那時，祭司、利未人起來，為民祝福。他們的聲音蒙神垂聽，他們的禱告達到天上的聖所。

有一件事，我曾求耶和華，我仍要尋求：就是一生一世住在耶和華的殿中，瞻仰他的榮美，在他的殿裏求問。因為我遭遇患難，他必暗暗地保守我；在他亭子裏，把我藏在他帳幕的隱密處，將我高舉在磐石上。

惟耶和華在他的聖殿中；全地的人都當在他面前肅敬靜默。

我在急難中求告耶和華，他就應允我。

耶和華啊，我從深處向你求告！主啊，求你聽我的聲音！願你側耳聽我懇求的聲音！

耶和華在他的聖殿裏；耶和華的寶座在天上；他的慧眼察看世人。

至於我，我必憑你豐盛的慈愛進入你的居所；我必存敬畏你的心向你的聖殿下拜。

過了多年，埃及王死了。以色列人因做苦工，就歎息哀求，他們的哀聲達於神。

「神果真住在地上嗎？看哪，天和天上的天尚且不足你居住的，何況我所建的這殿呢？惟求耶和華－我的神垂顧僕人的禱告祈求，俯聽僕人今日在你面前的祈禱呼籲。願你晝夜看顧這殿，就是你應許立為你名的居所；求你垂聽僕人向此處禱告的話。你僕人和你民以色列向此處祈禱的時候，求你在天上你的居所垂聽，垂聽而赦免。

他說：「阿爸！父啊！在你凡事都能；求你將這杯撤去。然而，不要從我的意思，只要從你的意思。」

當時，神天上的殿開了，在他殿中現出他的約櫃。隨後有閃電、聲音、雷轟、地震、大雹。
