我在急難時祈求主、籲懇我天主、主自殿中俯聽我聲、我之籲懇達於主前、為主耳所聞、

幽冥之索綯重重。死地之羅網紛紛。

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

這樣，彼得被拘留在監獄裡，教會卻為他熱切地向神禱告。

我呼求那當受讚美的耶和華，我就蒙拯救脫離仇敵。死亡的繩索纏繞我，險惡的急流驚擾我；

有一件事我求過耶和華，這件事我還要求問，就是在我一生所有的日子裡，可以居住在耶和華的殿中，仰望耶和華的恩慈，在他的聖殿中尋求；因為在災禍的日子裡，他必將我藏在他的帳幕中，隱藏在他帳篷的隱祕處，又將我高舉到磐石上；

我在患難中向耶和華呼求，他就回應我。

耶和華啊，我從深處呼求你！主啊，求你垂聽我的聲音，願你的耳朵傾聽我懇求的聲音！

耶和華在他聖潔的殿中，耶和華在天上的寶座上，他的眼睛觀看，他的眼目察驗世人。

至於我，我要藉著你豐盛的慈愛，來到你的家；因著對你的敬畏，向你聖潔的殿下拜。

他說：「阿爸！父啊！在你，沒有不可能的事，請把這杯從我這裡拿走吧！但不要照我的意願，而要照你的意願。」

隨後，神在天上的聖所開了，他的約櫃在他聖所中顯現。接著有閃電、聲音、雷鳴、地震和大冰雹。
