我倚賴主、殺入敵軍、仰仗天主、踰越敵城、

惟主一燃吾心之燈兮。而啟吾目之矇。

With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.

With your help I can attack a troop of soldiers. With the help of my God I can climb over a wall.

For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.

In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall.

With you I can attack a barricade, and with my God I can leap over a wall.

For by You I can run at a troop of warriors; And by my God I can leap over a wall.

For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.

For by thee I run upon a troop; And by my God do I leap over a wall.

Indeed, with your help I can charge against an army; by my God’s power I can jump over a wall.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. so David inquired of the Lord,“ Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?” The Lord answered him,“ Go, for I will surely deliver the Philistines into your hands.”So David went to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said,“ As waters break out, the Lord has broken out against my enemies before me.” So that place was called Baal Perazim. (niv)

So David did as the Lord commanded him, and he struck down the Philistines all the way from Gibeon to Gezer. (niv)

Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground. (niv)

I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory;but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. (niv)
