固知吾主之聖心兮。恆抑強而扶柔。我既惟主是怙兮。敵雖眾而何憂。

He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.

He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me.

I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me,[ and set me] in a large place.

And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock,[ and] established my goings.

The steps of a[ good] man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.

He delivered me from my strong enemy,[ and] from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.For all his judgments[ were] before me: and[ as for] his statutes, I did not depart from them.I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful,[ and] with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.

Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait[ into] a broad place, where[ there is] no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table[ should be] full of fatness.
