並且斥責紅海，海便乾了；他帶領他們經過深處，如同經過曠野。

你發鼻中的氣，水便聚起成堆，大水直立如壘，海中的深水凝結。

耶和華如此說：若能量度上天，尋察下地的根基，我就因以色列後裔一切所行的棄絕他們。這是耶和華說的。

卻要以公義審判貧窮人，以正直判斷世上的謙卑人，以口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裏的氣殺戮惡人。

你曾分裂磐石，水便成了溪河；你使長流的江河乾了。

看哪，耶和華的名從遠方來，怒氣燒起，密煙上騰。他的嘴唇滿有忿恨；他的舌頭像吞滅的火。他的氣如漲溢的河水，直漲到頸項，要用毀滅的篩籮篩淨列國，並且在眾民的口中必有使人錯行的嚼環。

原來陀斐特又深又寬，早已為王預備好了；其中堆的是火與許多木柴。耶和華的氣如一股硫磺火使他着起來。

神一出氣，他們就滅亡；神一發怒，他們就消沒。

將地立在根基上，使地永不動搖。

等到擡普天下主耶和華約櫃的祭司把腳站在約旦河水裏，約旦河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然斷絕，立起成壘。」百姓離開帳棚要過約旦河的時候，擡約櫃的祭司乃在百姓的前頭。他們到了約旦河，腳一入水（原來約旦河水在收割的日子漲過兩岸），那從上往下流的水便在極遠之地、撒拉但旁的亞當城那裏停住，立起成壘；那往亞拉巴的海，就是鹽海，下流的水全然斷絕。於是百姓在耶利哥的對面過去了。

我必驚動他的心，他要聽見風聲就歸回本地。我必使他在那裏倒在刀下。』」

山嶺和地永久的根基啊，要聽耶和華爭辯的話！因為耶和華要與他的百姓爭辯，與以色列爭論。

雅各的神啊，你的斥責一發，坐車的、騎馬的都沉睡了。

我立大地根基的時候，你在哪裏呢？你若有聰明，只管說吧！你若曉得就說，是誰定地的尺度？是誰把準繩拉在其上？地的根基安置在何處？地的角石是誰安放的？

我下到山根，地的門將我永遠關住。耶和華－我的神啊，你卻將我的性命從坑中救出來。
