The LORD thundered from heaven; the Most High made his voice heard.

陰陽相薄而成雹兮。絳烟起於雲中。

The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.

Samuel was offering the burnt offering as the Philistines approached to fight against Israel. The LORD thundered loudly against the Philistines that day and threw them into such confusion that they were defeated by Israel.

The voice of the LORD is above the waters. The God of glory thunders— the LORD, above the vast water,the voice of the LORD in power, the voice of the LORD in splendor.

Let hot coals fall on them. Let them be thrown into the fire, into the abyss, never again to rise.

The angel took the incense burner, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

All the people witnessed the thunder and lightning, the sound of the ram’s horn, and the mountain surrounded by smoke. When the people saw it they trembled and stood at a distance.

Plague goes before him, and pestilence follows in his steps.

What will he give you, and what will he do to you, you deceitful tongue?A warrior’s sharp arrows with burning charcoal!

Flashes of lightning and rumblings and peals of thunder came from the throne. Seven fiery torches were burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.
