A people I have not known shall serve me.The foreigners submit to me; As soon as they hear, they obey me.The foreigners fade away, And come frightened from their hideouts.“ The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock of my salvation!It is God who avenges me, And subdues the peoples under me;He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man.Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name.“ He is the tower of salvation to His king, And shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore.”

And in that day you will say:“ O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid;‘ For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’”Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.And in that day you will say:“ Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted.Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth.Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!”

And Hannah prayed and said:“ My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth.“ He will give strength to His king, And exalt the horn of His anointed.”

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
