耶和華兮、手援拯我、斯世害予兮、爾其免我、乃彼至今兮、反得福祜、富有兮豐亨、寖昌兮寢熾、業遺於子孫、

求主以手救我、脫離此世界之人、彼眾今生享福、主賜之財寶、滿其所欲、子孫眾多、又將盈餘留於後裔、

更望賜提撕。俾與鄉願隔。鄉願生斯世。但為斯世活。以主無盡藏。暢恣其口腹。金玉既滿堂。有子萬事足。積蓄遺兒孫。繩繩相承續。

By your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life. May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies; may their children gorge themselves on it, and may there be leftovers for their little ones.

Lord, by your power save me from people like that. They belong to this world. They get their reward in this life. May what you have stored up for evil people fill their bellies. May their children’s stomachs be filled with it. And may there even be leftovers for their little ones.

from men by your hand, O Lord, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants.

By the power of your hand, O Lord, destroy those who look to this world for their reward. But satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones. May their children have plenty, leaving an inheritance for their descendants.

LORD, use your power to deliver me from these murderers, from the murderers of this world! They enjoy prosperity; you overwhelm them with the riches they desire. They have many children, and leave their wealth to their offspring.

如果你們屬於這世界，世界會把你們做為屬自己的來愛；但是，因為你們不屬於這世界，而是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們。

因為他死的時候，什麼都帶不走，他的尊榮也不能隨著他下去。雖然人活著的時候自誇為有福，說：「只要你做得好，人們就會稱讚你」，但他的靈魂卻要歸到他歷代的祖先那裡，永遠不再看到光。

「於是主人因這個不義的管家做事精明，就稱讚他。這樣看來，今世的兒女在自己的世代裡，比光明的兒女還要聰明。

耶穌對他們說：「你們從下面來，我從上面來；你們屬於這世界，我不屬於這世界。

我把你的話語給了他們，而世界恨他們，因為他們不屬於這世界，就像我不屬於這世界那樣。

人們往來行走，只是幻像；他們喧鬧，也是虛空；他們積聚，卻不知道誰會收取。

孩子們哪，你們屬於神，而且你們已經勝過了假先知們，因為那在你們裡面的，比那在世界上的更大。他們屬於世界，所以他們說的屬於世界，而世界也聽從他們。

「財主就說：『我父啊，那麼求你打發拉撒路到我父親家去，因為我有五個兄弟，讓他去鄭重地勸誡他們，免得他們也來到這痛苦的地方。』

你們在地上奢侈生活、享樂度日，為宰殺的日子養肥了自己的心！

尋求她如同尋求銀子，搜尋她如同搜尋寶藏；

因為我看到惡人享平安時，就嫉妒那些狂傲的人。他們到死也沒有疼痛，他們的身體肥壯；他們沒有一般人所受的苦難，也不與普通人一樣遭遇災害。因此自高是他們的項鏈，殘暴如衣裳披在他們的身上。他們的眼睛因體胖而凸出，心裡的妄想四處氾濫。

「天國好比被藏在田裡的財寶。有人發現了，就把它再藏起來，然後高高興興地去賣掉他所擁有的一切，買下了那塊地。

看哪，惡人就是這樣——他們常享安穩，財富增添。
