So my heart rejoices and I am happy; My life is safe.

予心欣喜、載歡載忭、惟我此身、歸土有望、

因此我心歡欣、我靈我靈或作我體之榮喜樂、我身軀亦享安康、

魂安魄亦舒。

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,

So my heart is glad. Joy is on my tongue. My body also will be secure.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.

No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety.

So now my heart will sing to you and not be silent; O LORD my God, I will always give thanks to you.

Awake, my soul! Awake, O stringed instrument and harp! I will wake up at dawn!

You make me happier than those who have abundant grain and wine.I will lie down and sleep peacefully, for you, LORD, make me safe and secure.

I am determined, O God! I will sing and praise you with my whole heart.

Now we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest who have no hope.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also we believe that God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep as Christians.

The wicked will be thrown down in his trouble, but the righteous have refuge even in the threat of death.

So too the tongue is a small part of the body, yet it has great pretensions. Think how small a flame sets a huge forest ablaze.And the tongue is a fire! The tongue represents the world of wrongdoing among the parts of our bodies. It pollutes the entire body and sets fire to the course of human existence– and is set on fire by hell.For every kind of animal, bird, reptile, and sea creature is subdued and has been subdued by humankind.But no human being can subdue the tongue; it is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse people made in God’s image.

On that same occasion Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.All things have been given to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.”

Your dead will come back to life; your corpses will rise up. Wake up and shout joyfully, you who live in the ground! For you will grow like plants drenched with the morning dew, and the earth will bring forth its dead spirits.

If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait until my release comes.You will call and I– I will answer you; you will long for the creature you have made.

And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God,whom I will see for myself, and whom my own eyes will behold, and not another. My heart grows faint within me.
