I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device,[ which] they are not able[ to perform].Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back,[ when] thou shalt make ready[ thine arrows] upon thy strings against the face of them.

The LORD hath sworn[ in] truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand[ to be] a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Therefore will I divide him[ a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest:[ this shall be] the portion of their cup.

The portion of Jacob[ is] not like them: for he[ is] the former of all[ things]; and Israel[ is] the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts[ is] his name.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect,[ in whom] my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Thou wilt prolong the king’s life:[ and] his years as many generations.He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth,[ which] may preserve him.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
