那些急轉退後的、必增加自己的苦痛。他們流人血的奠祭、我不澆奠上；我的嘴脣也不提他們的名。

那些追求別的神明的，他們的愁苦必增加；他們獻的血祭，我不澆奠；我的嘴唇也不提別的神明的名號。

移於他神者、其苦必增、彼奠血為祭、我不獻之、我口不道其名兮、

人逆上帝、群奉偶像、惟我不獻血以為祭兮、不稱名而讚頌。

樂從別神者、必多愁苦、彼眾所奠血祭祀者、我不祭奠、我口中亦不題其名號、

歸依邪魔者。愁上更添憂。祭祀含血腥。厥名亦可羞。

Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on my lips.

Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods. I will not take part in their sacrifices of blood or even speak the names of their gods.

The pains of those who have acquired another god will be multiplied; I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood, Nor will I take their names upon my lips.

They that regard lying vanities Forsake their own mercy.

Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto demons,And shed innocent blood, Even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, Whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood.

And the meal- offering thereof shall be two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah for a sweet savor; and the drink- offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

Among the smooth stones of the valley is thy portion; they, they are thy lot; even to them hast thou poured a drink- offering, thou hast offered an oblation. Shall I be appeased for these things?

He that killeth an ox is as he that slayeth a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as he that breaketh a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as he that offereth swine’s blood; he that burneth frankincense, as he that blesseth an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations:

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink- offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
