I said to Yahweh,“ You are my Lord; I have nothing good besides You.”

我謂耶和華曰、爾乃我主、爾外我無福兮、

我告耶和華曰、爾乃吾主兮、我之福祉、皆爾所賚、

我心向主云、惟主乃我之主、我之福不在主以外、

吾心白吾主。所天惟有汝。方寸無他好。懷主以為寶。

I say to the Lord,“ You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”

I say to the Lord,“ You are my Lord. Without you, I don’t have anything that is good.”

I say to the Lord,“ You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”

I said to the Lord,“ You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”

I said to the LORD,“ You are my Lord; I have nothing good besides you.”

I said to the Lord,“ You are my Lord; I have nothing good besides You.”

O my soul, you have said to the Lord,“ You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”

O my soul, thou hast said unto Jehovah, Thou art my Lord: I have no good beyond thee.

[ O my soul], thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou[ art] my Lord: my goodness[ extendeth] not to thee;

I say to the LORD,“ You are the Lord, my only source of well-being.”

My soul, you have said to Yahweh,“ You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.”

But I trust in You, Lord; I say,“ You are my God.”

Can a man be of any use to God? Can even a wise man be of use to Him?Does it delight the Almighty if you are righteous? Does He profit if you perfect your behavior?

Thomas responded to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”

I will say to the Lord,“ My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Who do I have in heaven but You? And I desire nothing on earth but You.

I will put this third through the fire; I will refine them as silver is refined and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say: They are My people, and they will say: Yahweh is our God.”

He will call to Me,‘ You are my Father, my God, the rock of my salvation.’

In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say,‘ We are good-for-nothing slaves; we’ve only done our duty.’”

My heart says this about You,“ You are to seek My face.” Lord, I will seek Your face.

I will not accept a bull from your household or male goats from your pens,for every animal of the forest is Mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.

If you are righteous, what do you give Him, or what does He receive from your hand?Your wickedness affects a person like yourself, and your righteousness another human being.

Yahweh our God, lords other than You have ruled over us, but we remember Your name alone.

Yahweh, our Lord, how magnificent is Your name throughout the earth! You have covered the heavens with Your majesty.

Or who has ever first given to Him, and has to be repaid?

This one will say,‘ I am the Lord’s’; another will call himself by the name of Jacob; still another will write on his hand,‘ The Lord’s,’ and name himself by the name of Israel.”
