主必不將我靈魂遺棄於示阿勒、示阿勒見六篇五節小註主必不使敬主虔誠人朽壞、

所望保吾魂。莫使淪幽冥。更望聖者身。免染朽腐痕。

because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

You will not leave me in the place of the dead. You will not let your faithful one rot away.

For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave.

Therefore, He also says in another Psalm:‘ You will not allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.’For David, after he had served God’s purpose in his own generation, fell asleep, and was buried among his fathers and underwent decay;but He whom God raised did not undergo decay.Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,

But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, For He will receive me. Selah

and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Sheol below is excited about you, to meet you when you come; It stirs the spirits of the dead for you, all the leaders of the earth; It raises all the kings of the nations from their thrones.

And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them according to their deeds.

And in Hades he raised his eyes, being in torment, and* saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his arms.

They are as high as the heavens; what can you do? Deeper than Sheol; what can you know?

Therefore Sheol has enlarged its throat and opened its mouth beyond measure; And Jerusalem’s splendor, her multitude, her noise of revelry, and the jubilant within her, descend into it.

The angel answered and said to her,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason also the holy Child will be called the Son of God.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body;

For a fire has flared in My anger, And it burns to the lowest part of Sheol, And devours the earth with its yield, And sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied, Nor are the eyes of a person ever satisfied.

If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.

“ Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the wrongdoing, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

Though they dig into Sheol, From there My hand will take them; And though they ascend to heaven, From there I will bring them down.

‘ All the days of his life as a Nazirite for the Lord he shall not come up to a dead person.

You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the Lord.

Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.Behold, I am telling you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.But when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written:“ Death has been swallowed up in victory.Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?”

Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the Lord, How much more the hearts of mankind!

But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,but put to death the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.

“ Leave us alone! What business do You have with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are— the Holy One of God!”

The wicked will return to Sheol, All the nations who forget God.
