whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others;

They don’t tell lies about other people. They don’t do wrong to their neighbors. They don’t say anything bad about them.

who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend;

Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.

He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;

He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor;

I will destroy anyone who secretly slanders his neighbor; I cannot tolerate anyone with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart.My eyes favor the faithful of the land so that they may sit down with me. The one who follows the way of integrity may serve me.No one who acts deceitfully will live in my palace; the one who tells lies will not be retained here to guide me.Every morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, wiping out all evildoers from the LORD’s city.

Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law.

I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way.But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you.Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.“ I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. See, my father, look at this piece of your robe in my hand! I cut off the corner of your robe but did not kill you. See that there is nothing in my hand to indicate that I am guilty of wrongdoing or rebellion. I have not wronged you, but you are hunting me down to take my life. (niv)
