蛟龍滄海、冰雹雪霧、遵主命之狂風、

雷霆與白雪。飄風布聖旨。

O fire and hail, snow and clouds, O stormy wind that carries out his orders,

He sendeth out his commandment upon earth; His word runneth very swiftly.He giveth snow like wool; He scattereth the hoar- frost like ashes.He casteth forth his ice like morsels: Who can stand before his cold?He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: He causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

And there came forth fire from before Jehovah, and devoured them, and they died before Jehovah.

Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven;

Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, That are mighty in strength, that fulfil his word, Hearkening unto the voice of his word.

And fire came forth from Jehovah, and devoured the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.

At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, Hailstones and coals of fire.

And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.

And Jehovah turned an exceeding strong west wind, which took up the locusts, and drove them into the Red Sea; there remained not one locust in all the border of Egypt.

And great hail, every stone about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.

And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and Jehovah brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all the night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

Thus the Lord Jehovah showed me: and, behold, the Lord Jehovah called to contend by fire; and it devoured the great deep, and would have eaten up the land.

But Jehovah sent out a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, Which lifteth up the waves thereof.They mount up to the heavens, they go down again to the depths: Their soul melteth away because of trouble.They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits’ end.Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he bringeth them out of their distresses.He maketh the storm a calm, So that the waves thereof are still.

And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and Jehovah sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down unto the earth; and Jehovah rained hail upon the land of Egypt.So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and Jehovah caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

For by fire will Jehovah execute judgment, and by his sword, upon all flesh; and the slain of Jehovah shall be many.

Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, And the sound that goeth out of his mouth.He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, And his lightning unto the ends of the earth.After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of his majesty; And he restraineth not the lightnings when his voice is heard.God thundereth marvellously with his voice; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.For he saith to the snow, Fall thou on the earth; Likewise to the shower of rain, And to the showers of his mighty rain.

And behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the boat was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Save, Lord; we perish.And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.And the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought; that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the Earth— Jehovah, the God of hosts, is his name.

Hast thou entered the treasuries of the snow, Or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, Against the day of battle and war?By what way is the light parted, Or the east wind scattered upon the earth?Who hath cleft a channel for the waterflood, Or the way for the lightning of the thunder;To cause it to rain on a land where no man is; On the wilderness, wherein there is no man;To satisfy the waste and desolate ground, And to cause the tender grass to spring forth?Hath the rain a father? Or who hath begotten the drops of dew?Out of whose womb came the ice? And the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?The waters hide themselves and become like stone, And the face of the deep is frozen.Canst thou bind the cluster of the Pleiades, Or loose the bands of Orion?Canst thou lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season? Or canst thou guide the Bear with her train?Knowest thou the ordinances of the heavens? Canst thou establish the dominion thereof in the earth?Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, That abundance of waters may cover thee?Canst thou send forth lightnings, that they may go, And say unto thee, Here we are?Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who hath given understanding to the mind?Who can number the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the bottles of heaven,

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth- horon, that Jehovah cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more who died with the hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
