You are to say this to them:“ The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”He made the earth by his power, established the world by his wisdom, and spread out the heavens by his understanding.When he thunders, the waters in the heavens are in turmoil, and he causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain and brings the wind from his storehouses.

He builds his upper chambers in the heavens and lays the foundation of his vault on the earth. He summons the water of the sea and pours it out over the surface of the earth. The LORD is his name.

Our Lord and God, you are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because you have created all things, and by your will they exist and were created.
