How blessed is the one whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

Blessed are those who depend on the God of Jacob for help. Blessed are those who put their hope in the Lord their God.

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,

But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Jehovah his God:

Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,

Happy[ is he] that[ hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope[ is] in the LORD his God:

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:

My blessing is on those people who trust in me, who put their confidence in me.They will be like a tree planted near a stream whose roots spread out toward the water. It has nothing to fear when the heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no need to be concerned in a year of drought. It does not stop bearing fruit.

How blessed are the people who experience these things! How blessed are the people whose God is the LORD!

For you give me confidence, O Lord; O LORD, I have trusted in you since I was young.

He added,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

How blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen to be his special possession.

The LORD who commands armies is on our side! The God of Jacob is our protector!( Selah)

So Jacob was left alone. Then a man wrestled with him until daybreak.When the man saw that he could not defeat Jacob, he struck the socket of his hip so the socket of Jacob’s hip was dislocated while he wrestled with him.Then the man said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.”“ I will not let you go,” Jacob replied,“ unless you bless me.”The man asked him,“ What is your name?” He answered,“ Jacob.”“ No longer will your name be Jacob,” the man told him,“ but Israel, because you have fought with God and with men and have prevailed.”Then Jacob asked,“ Please tell me your name.”“ Why do you ask my name?” the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.

But now, O Lord, upon what am I relying? You are my only hope!

‘ Tell Joseph this: Please forgive the sin of your brothers and the wrong they did when they treated you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sin of the servants of the God of your father.” When this message was reported to him, Joseph wept.

O LORD, sovereign God, hear my prayer! Listen, O God of Jacob!( Selah)

Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

The LORD who commands armies is on our side! The God of Jacob is our protector!( Selah)

You have joy, Israel! Who is like you? You are a people delivered by the LORD, your protective shield and your exalted sword. May your enemies cringe before you; may you trample on their backs.

O LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL, how blessed are those who trust in you!
