The Lord also thundered in the heavens, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.He sent out His arrows, and scattered them, And lightning flashes in abundance, and routed them.
The clouds poured out water; The skies sounded out; Your arrows flashed here and there.The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightning lit up the world; The earth trembled and shook.
He made darkness canopies around Him, A mass of waters, thick clouds of the sky.From the brightness before Him Coals of fire were kindled.The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice.And He shot arrows and scattered them, Lightning, and routed them.
If one does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and taken aim.He has also prepared deadly weapons for Himself; He makes His arrows fiery shafts.
I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword will devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the long haired leaders of the enemy.’
